| Art Activities | |
| Try Weaving | Weave a paper Imagicat rug, or, if you have a loom, weave it with yarn. |
| Draw, Paint, Decorate!! | Make your own *Write From
the Heart* sign and decorate it. Create your own painted or colored Imagicat rug. Make glitter-decorated dragon-wings and make up a story Jeff might have liked to go with them. Illustrate Jeff's seasons poem, or his story about Martians invading the New York subway. |
| Enter the Contest | See the suggestions in the Imagicat art contest (click above). |
| Sculpture | Use clay, papier-mache, or other art media to make sculptures of Mortimer in action. |
| Dramatic Activities | |
| Which character are you? | Act out a scene in Imagicat. |
| Pantomime | Pretend you have an invisible alter ego. Using pantomime, try to show the class what kind of animal it is. Can they guess it? |
| Puppets | Use puppets to act out a scene or a monologue. For a Mortimer puppet, click here; |
| The other guys | What do you think of Dave, or Ralph Johnson? Can you act out a scene from their point of view? |
